Mountain Bike Skills Clinic:

Bentonville, AR June 11-14, 2020 Come join Crystal Anthony and Craig Wohlschlaeger for a long weekend of mountain bike skills practice with a special treat: Crystal's own whole food cooking to fuel you! You’ll also get to experience the ever growing network of amazing trails in the new mountain bike destination of Bentonville, AR.  Gain confidence on your mountain bike in a safe and supportive small-group environment with personalized instruction.  Feel free to participate hands-on with meal prep, or if you prefer, just enjoy the finished products; either way you will come away with a packet of new recipes that taste great and also fuel your body well. Preliminary Schedule

Day 1

Arrive anytime. Local airport is Fayettville, AR (XNA)

12-1 lunch on your own, downtown Bentonville

2:00-4:00 pre-clinic TT & first skills session 

4:30-5:30 settle at AirBnB

6:00-7:00 dinner: chicken tacos with cassava tortillas, pickled cabbage, "cashew sour cream"; "ice cream" sandwiches

7:30 intro to weekend schedule/ goals/ etc


Day 2

8:00-9:00 breakfast: moringa smoothies & eggs

10:00-12:00 morning skills session: technical wheel lifts

12:30-1:30 lunch: Mediterranean bowls

2:00-3:30 afternoon session: integration of AM skills to tackle technical climbs

4:00-6:00 free time to explore Bentonville / shop / massage/ yoga

6:30-7:30 dinner: salmon burgers on naan with lemony "yogurt" & sweet potato fries; Crystal's signature "cheesecake"

Day 3

8:00-9:00 breakfast: monkey bread & eggs

10:00-12:00 morning skills session: drops and jumps

12:30 -1:30 lunch: sesame ginger chicken meatballs

2:00-4:00 afternoon session: integration of AM skills to improve downhill speed on trails & post-clinic TT to measure progress!

4:30-6 free time to pack

6:30-7:30 dinner: coconut tikka masala; triple-layer brownies


Day 4

Breakfast: chocolate zucchini muffins

Optional: longer endurance ride on the Back 40 Trails (if you can get a later flight!)
