Pumpkin Spice Latté

 

Ingredients

1 cup milk of choice (I used almond and oat milk)

1 1/2 Tablespoon canned pumpkin

1 Tablespoon vanilla extract

1-2 Tablespoons maple syrup or honey, to taste

1/4-1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice, to taste

1 shot espresso, or 1/2 cup strong coffee

 

Directions

Brew your espresso or coffee first however you like.

 

If you have a milk steamer, put milk, pumpkin, vanilla, sweetener, and pumpkin pie spice in steamer and froth. Otherwise, in a sauce pan over medium heat, add milk, pumpkin, and sweetener. Whisk and heat until your milk is steaming. Remove from heat and whisk in vanilla and pumpkin pie spice.

Pour steamed milk/pumpkin mixture over brewed espresso or coffee. Top with a dusting of cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice.
