Matcha Oatmeal




1/2 cup organic rolled oats

1 Tablespoon chia seeds

1 Tablespoon hemp seeds


1-1.5 cups milk of choice

3 small or 1 large pitted date

3 Tablespoons cashews

large handful baby spinach

1 teaspoon matcha powder

pinch cinnamon

1 teaspoon vanilla


Mix all dry ingredients in small sauce pan. Blend all wet ingredients in a high speed blender (Vitamix) until smooth.  Once everything is creamy, add the wet mixture to the saucepan.  Heat over medium heat, stirring frequently, until oatmeal is desired consistency.

Serve with additional milk of choice, and dried fruit, nut or seed toppings.
