Chocolate Avocado Mousse
1 ripe avocado, pit and skin removed
2 ripe bananas (can be frozen)
1/2 cup (or to taste) cacao powder
1/8 teaspoon salt
dates (to sweeten more without adding banana flavor)
cacao nibs (for a richer chocolate taste)
Place all ingredients through vanilla in a high-speed blender and start to blend. It will probably be too thick for the blender to engage. Add water until the mixture starts to combine and your desired thickness is achieved. Blend until smooth and creamy. Taste and adjust for flavor. Add more cacao or cacao nibs for richer chocolate flavor, more banana or dates or maple syrup to make it sweeter.
Chill in refrigerator then serve!
