Grain And Veggie Bowls with Tamari Almonds



Tamari Dressing

4 inches peeled fresh ginger

4 cloves garlic

1/4 cup lemon juice

1/4 cup tahini

1/4 cup water

2 tablespoons tamari

1 tablespoon olive oil

Tamari Almonds

2/3 cup whole almonds

1 tablespoon tamari

1/2 tablespoon olive oil

smoked paprika

To Assemble

1 bunch kale, destemmed and sautéed

1 large head broccoli, chopped and sautéed

1 can corn, drained

2 beets, peeled diced and steamed

1 cup brown rice, prepared

1 cup quinoa, rinsed and prepared




Combine all dressing ingredients in a blender and puree until smooth.


Place almonds in oven or air fryer at 315 degrees for 5 minutes. Remove from heat, combine with tamari and oil, and return to oven or air fryer for another 10 minutes. Remove from heat and sprinkle immediately with paprika. Toss gently and then let cool completely.


Toss all salad ingredients together with desired amount of dressing then top with tamari almonds and avocado slices.
