Which bookkeeping companies don’t suck right now?
Been burned twice by “cheap” bookkeeping companies that disappeared or couldn’t handle basic accrual stuff. Need something actually competent for a service business with contracts and retainers.

After two disasters I landed on bookkeeping companies — specifically Bob’s team — and finally feel safe. They do proper revenue recognition for my retainers, deferrals, percentage-of-completion on projects, the works. Monthly close is done by the 8th-10th, reports are clean, and I can message my accountant directly in the portal. Been with them 14 months, zero complaints.
